• Access to a Standard Agreement between the Agent and the supplier.
  The use of a Standard Agreement has a number of benefits of both principal and agent:
  
  
  • It is a formal agreement setting out the obligations of all parties involved.
  • It formally refutes the possible “de facto employee” claim by the Tax office.
  • It proves that there exists an enforceable agreement between the parties.

  This firmly establishes the responsibility of:
  • The member to the Furniture Manufacturers/Importers/Wholesalers and Suppliers.

  The Service request form is recommended for use of member when carrying out a service request from either the retailer or the company.
  It use simplifies the procedure and normally satisfies the customer’s concern.
  
  
  
• Access to legal representation and a collection agency.
  Members gain access to our Solicitor who is able to advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, property, taxation and employment law. Members are offered the initial consultation, free of charge, no obligation.
  
  
  
• Access to an Insurance Broker.
  The Broker offers very competitive rates on:
  • General and Product Liability.
  • Home insurance.
  • Comprehensive motor.
  • Disability Insurance.

• Access to a Collection Agency to assist in the recovery of outstanding commissions.
  The Association will assist Members in the collection of outstanding commissions provided that there is proof of debt
