- Access to a Standard Agreement between the Agent and the
supplier.
The use of a Standard Agreement has a number of benefits of both principal and agent:
- It is a formal agreement setting out the obligations of
all parties involved.
- It formally refutes the possible “de facto employee”
claim by the Tax office.
- It proves that there exists an enforceable agreement between
the parties.
- It protects both parties regarding performance.
- Provision of a Code of Ethics.
This firmly establishes the responsibility of:
- The member to the Furniture Manufacturers/Importers/Wholesalers and Suppliers.
- The responsibility of the Member to the Retailer.
- The responsibility to other members and Company Representatives.
- Access to an Approved Service Request form.
The Service request form is recommended for use of member when carrying out a service request from either the
retailer or the company.
It use simplifies the procedure and normally satisfies the customer’s
concern.
- Access to legal representation and a collection agency.
Members gain access to our Solicitor who is able to advice on
a wide range of corporate, commercial, property, taxation and
employment law. Members are offered the initial consultation,
free of charge, no obligation.
- Access to an Insurance Broker.
The Broker offers very competitive rates on:
- General and Product Liability.
- Home insurance.
- Comprehensive motor.
- Disability Insurance.
- Superannuation
- Access to a Collection Agency to assist in the recovery
of outstanding commissions.
The Association will assist Members in the collection of outstanding commissions provided that there is proof of debt
